A New Challenge for a New Year

Because it was so much fun last year, I've signed up to participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge for 2015. My official goal is to read 36 books this year. My more personal goal is to actually make time to review all of them this time. We'll see how that goes.

I'd like to invite you to participate with me. Because, really, what's not to love about anything that encourages you to read more?

Other Stuff You Should Know

This blog started as a school project, turned into a chronicle of the painfully funny process of recovering from surgery, and eventually evolved into a mish-mash of whatever happens to pop into Melissa's crazy brain. ... This could be anything from observations of pop culture to musings about the joys of raising kids to revelations about the wonders of the universe. (But probably not so much of that last one.)

Whatever the day, and whatever the subject, the goal of this blog will always be to inform, to entertain, and - hopefully - to remind you to always look for the bright side of whatever mess life might throw at you.
